The Rhinos squad opened the scoring in the 23rd minute through a header by skipper Baddrol Bakhtiar, but the hosts equalised through T. Saravanan in the 51st minute.

Stunned by the goal, Sabah regrouped and began launching more attacks before Jackson De Souza put the team back in front in the 57th minute.

Baddrol capped an excellent night for him by scoring his second from an acrobatic kick just three minutes later to give the visitors a 3-1 lead.

Datuk Ong Kim Swee’s charges did not stop the rampage and their persistence saw Sabah’s England import, Stuart John Wilkin netting the fourth in the 66th minute.

Hilal El-Helwe added the second for Penang FC in the 76th minute but it was simply not enough as the Rhinos dominated the game until the final whistle.
