KOTA KINABALU: Former Tawau Municipal Council president Alijus Sipil has been named as one of Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) Sabah candidates in the upcoming State Election.
Alijus will be fielded in his hometown, Tamparuli, while Sabah PKR chief Datuk Christina Liew will defend her Api-Api seat.
Raymond Ahuar who was booted out as Christina’s political secretary last year will be contesting in Sook.
Last night Sabah PKR, an ally of Warisan Plus has agreed to accept the seven seats assigned to them.
The announcement of candidates and presentation of candidate appointment letter was held at Sabah PKR’s office here today.-Borneo Gazette
