Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Umno chief Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin and the party’s Supreme Council member Datuk Abdul Rahman Dahlan appeared to have resolved their differences following weeks of tension over the former being made Sabah BN’s election machinery head. Several photos posted on Umno President Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi’s Facebook page on Tuesday showed the two displaying friendly gestures to each other, including fist-bumping. In a post, Zahid expressed thanks for Tuesday’s concluded meeting between Umno division heads in Sabah Zones 1 and 2 in Sepanggar with pictures of the gathering attended by leaders including Bung and Rahman and of them fist-bumping.
Another post by Zahid said “Sabahans miss BN very much” and was accompanied by more pictures of the two leaders fist-bumping. Rahman had labelled Bung’s appointment to lead the election machinery as a “suicidal move” because the Kinabatangan MP is currently facing corruption charges related to Felcra where he was non-executive chairman.
